                          5086 H32 Aluminum Sheet

                           SHARE

Common tempers for 5086 aluminum sheet include H32, H34, H112 and O tempers, with H32 and H34 being the most commonly used. H32 and H34, after heat treatment and cold working, possess excellent strength and ductility, making them suitable for welding and marine applications. H112 offers superior corrosion resistance, making it suitable for applications requiring less-demanding strength. O temper, after full annealing, exhibits excellent ductility and is suitable for further processing. Thicknesses of 5086 aluminum sheet generally range from 0.15 to 600 mm, widths from 20 to 2650 mm, and lengths from 500 to 16,000 mm. Specific specifications can be customized according to customer needs.

5086 aluminum sheet is primarily alloyed with magnesium, ranging from 3.5% to 4.5%, along with smaller amounts of manganese (0.2% to 0.7%) and chromium (0.05% to 0.25%). The remainder is aluminum. These alloying elements contribute to the sheet's excellent properties. "H32" indicates the work-hardened and stabilized state, where "H" represents the work-hardened state, "3" indicates that the mechanical properties have stabilized after work-hardening through low-temperature heat treatment or due to heat exposure during processing, and "2" indicates that the work-hardened plate has been stabilized to 1/4 hardness. This means that the 5086 h32 aluminum plate has a medium hardness and strength, while also having certain toughness and fatigue resistance.

The following are the main performance characteristics of 5086 H32 aluminum plate:
