As a product manager at HC Aluminum, a manufacturer with years of experience in aluminum circles materials, I firmly believe that the core competitiveness of a high-quality aluminum steamer begins with a high-quality aluminum disc. Addressing the global market's core demands for steamer products—"highly efficient heat conduction, safety, durability, and versatility"—we have incorporated technological considerations across the entire process, from material selection to process refinement, to create a specialized aluminum circle better suited to steamer manufacturing scenarios.
Material selection is the foundation of the aluminum circle for steamer product. We rejected general-purpose aluminum materials and selected 3003 series food grade aluminum alloy as the base material. Based on years of industry experience, the magnesium-manganese alloy ratio of this material perfectly balances thermal conductivity and rigidity—achieving a thermal conductivity of 201W/(m·K), ensuring rapid and even heat transfer from steam and preventing uneven cooking of food; simultaneously, the tensile strength is increased to over 110MPa, solving the problem of deformation caused by prolonged high-temperature use in ordinary aluminum steamers. All substrates have passed dual food contact safety certifications of GB 4806.9-2023 and EN 851:2022, with 23 heavy metal leaching levels far below the standard limits, ensuring food safety from the source.
Process precision determines the upper limit of product quality. We use a fully automated CNC stamping production line, employing a six-fold leveling and high-precision servo drive system to control the diameter tolerance of the aluminum circle for steamer within ±0.1mm and the flatness error ≤0.2mm/m, ensuring a seamless fit with the steamer frame and improving steam sealing. To meet the high-frequency cleaning requirements of the steamer, we have optimized the surface treatment process, using chromium-free passivation technology to form a dense protective film. This avoids the scratches and dirt accumulation problems of traditional sandblasting processes, improves corrosion resistance, and ensures a surface roughness Ra≤0.8μm, balancing easy cleaning and steam penetration efficiency.
Based on the differentiated needs of the global market, we have built a flexible product system. We offer full-size customized aluminum circle for cookware ranging from 100mm to 1600mm in diameter and 0.3mm to 5.0mm in thickness, suitable for various scenarios including mini household steamers and large commercial steam cabinets. Addressing the protection needs of cross-border transportation, we innovatively employ modular stacking packaging to reduce bumps and damage during transport. Simultaneously, our rapid mold switching technology allows for specification conversion within 15 minutes, significantly improving order response efficiency.
Having cultivated the export market for many years, we understand that compliance and durability are core concerns for overseas customers. Each batch of products comes with complete material testing reports and compliance certificates, and has passed 1000 cycles of high-temperature steaming in a simulated commercial kitchen, demonstrating no deformation or coating peeling. From material selection to process optimization, HC Aluminum consistently uses technology as its anchor, ensuring that every aluminum circle becomes a reliable cornerstone in steamer manufacturing, helping customers build quality competitiveness in the global market.
